JapanResell started with two passionate friends: Mathis (25) and Baptiste (26). Since we were kids, we have been exploring the world of manga, pre-publication magazines, rare artbooks and trading cards. Over the years, this shared passion has turned into real expertise.
The project was born at the end of our business studies and grew step by step: we structured and professionalised our import and distribution methods, until we officially founded JapanResell in January 2022.
Our mission is simple: to give you access to the most sought-after Japanese products, with no unnecessary middlemen.
A direct link with Japan
We work with partners based in Tokyo all year round, and we travel to Japan regularly to source products ourselves. This lets us follow new releases in real time and offer you an authentic, constantly renewed selection: pre-publication magazines, artbooks, merchandise from limited-time exhibitions, official trading cards, goodies and much more.

Every year, you can meet us at several fairs and conventions, such as Japan Expo: must-attend events to meet and share with fellow fans.
We also run giveaways and work with many players in the industry, from independent shops to major retailers, to bring the world of manga and collecting to life.
