Horimiya

Horimiya (ホリミヤ) is a slice-of-life romance shōnen manga series created by HERO, adapted from a webcomic series illustrated by Daisuke Hagiwara. First published in 2007, it tells the story of Kyouko Hori, a popular and brilliant high school student, and Izumi Miyamura, a quiet and reserved young man. Although they only know each other superficially at school, their lives take a turn when they discover hidden sides to each other outside of school.

Horimiya tenderly and humorously explores the early stages of a sincere romance, while also addressing themes of friendship, interpersonal relationships, and self-acceptance. This manga is beloved for its gentleness, endearing characters, and ability to capture the authentic emotions of youth.
